I did the A380 LHR-LAX with my 2 year old and 4 year old this summer (and wife), upstairs cabin (front) turned out to be really good as the upstairs front toilets are large (especially left) and easy to assist two kids in (with the “company seat”). In front of the curtain is also a great area to move around without disturbing the crew and fellow passengers (given that they don’t run too much up and down the stairs which could cause complaints from the F cabin below.

My last "lots of kids" trip was a 787 experience in World Traveller. One mum, 3 kids to look after, front row of WT. They were all as good as gold, the older ones mesmerised by the IFE and the younger one slept like, well, a baby. All a credit to themselves and their mother - who admittedly looked like she took no nonsense from anyone!
