For the record, bus transfers from domestic flights at EDI no longer drop you off directly landside, that area is now a secondary international arrivals point. Instead, you're dropped off a long way up the south east pier. It's an annoying walk but it means the chance of ending up landside when getting off the plane is now pretty much nil.
