The online option to standby for a later flight seems to be very spotty. I used it for an evening outbound a couple months ago without issue, but wasn't offered the option for my early morning return, possibly because I wasn't checking in on the same calendar day. LUS agents at TPA really seemed to struggle to get me listed using QIK, and eventually had to have their LAA colleagues help them out with it.

Which reminds me: one of the LUS agents insisted that once the bugs in QIK have been ironed out, LAA agents will be transitioned onto it as well and lose native Sabre access. Any idea if that's true?
