I am still having issues for over a week with the multi-city mode where it defaults to the highest fares for each segment. Luckily, I had priced out an itinerary and printed it 2 weeks ago when I had kept track of the normal range of prices for my proposed trip. It originally costed out close to $2000 including segments in business first on the PS service and first on some others. Since last week, it costed out at around $4,500 and oddly enough, would change fares when asking it to search the same trip, with the one difference being seeking economy ticket or first class ticket (and seeing the columns with the other options). I then had the idea to just buy 2 roundtrip tickets to the same destinations since I was still starting and returning to LAX. It costed out at around $2,500 so that was getting me closer to where I was before. I called Mileage Plus to confirm that I could buy 2 round trips and not be violating any rules. I then called .com support to check in about the problem and was told that I might not even be seeing the lowest price even on a roundtrip!! This person was kind enough to cost out my original trip using the lowest available fares that this person could find in their system as being available and not displaying properly on the website. I was able to get close the the original $2,000. It is really frustrating that the average person would never know that the fares being displayed are not the "lowest available" and without Expert Mode working, you could not see the lower fare buckets being available, but not given as an option. I was really happy to have such a nice .com agent to assist me who was aware of the problem.
