I certainly think it is best to stick with what you've got in the Household Account (HHA), you'll be able to break free fairly shortly anyway. Don't worry too much about the new account, so long as you don't travel on the new account number you won't get into trouble, and you can easily change the BAEC number on the reservation over if necessary. The BA system must have thousands of redundant accounts in their system.
