There is a really bizarre issue where some airlines that use the same checkin system as O6 are recognising the status verbatim. What I mean is instead of it showing Star Gold in their system it is saying O6 Gold/Diamond which is a meaningless status to the checkin computer, lounges and fast track gates.

My OH had this issue recently on LO and she was a bit embarrassed because the crew came to her onboard to welcome her as a Diamond member which they were not familiar with... They may have figured it was some super HON+ like status .

It made up for the fact all the systems rejected her status at the fast track and the lounge staff had to manually override the status on the BP for entry.
