So I arrived today [from HKG] and decided to make a detour to the transit desk and see what is the deal with the transit procedure.

I was the last to leave the plane and there were about 200 people from my flight lining up for security and 4 people waiting at the transit desk,presumably because they did not have onward BPs.

There was no one asking anyone to get the BP verified or anything.
