I wouldn't be surprised to learn that most SEA-PDX passengers aren't connecting anywhere. The SEA-PDX shuttle has been around for a long time.

There are a lot of shuttle markets in the US and other countries. SEA-PDX stands out because it is traditionally flown by smaller aircraft. Time and time again commuters have shown that they value frequency and flexibility on this route compared to having fewer flights on larger aircraft.
