Well, yeah. If those things happened randomly or whatever, I'd stop flying United and move my business elsewhere.
I've learned long ago to not expect free stuff. If it happens, great. If not, well, I didn't pay for it in the first place. It's hard for me to feel slighted for not getting something that could've not gone to me anyway for a dozen other reasons aside from a system malfunction.
Maybe I'm a bit more hakuna matada than most. *shrug*
