No thanks....keep the chutes and people physically separated and out of the way...the issue is who should be in which chute.

The chutes are the smartest thing UA introduced to the boarding process.
I agree, though we are a distinct minority here. I flew Delta recently on a transcon 767 and it was a real cluster* at the gate with everyone crowding around. No thanks.
