Technically, the name on the AAdvantage account need not match the SecureFlight data (nor even the names on the ticket) to get PreCheck LLL.

The PreCheck determination indeed does use the SecureFlight data to determine if PreCheck LLL will be granted, but that PreCheck determination is also built upon other info transmitted along with the PNRs. That is why there could be PreCheck benefits that arise from name fixes on accounts and ID and travel documents.
