Recently flew internationally, and I have been used to IFE pausing when the flight crew or pilot speaks (giving safety instructions, put on seatbelt, etc.), but this flight the IFE did not pause, and I missed numerous safety announcements. Is this a safety violation or just a choice by the purser not to bother passengers?
