I am planning to drive from Las Vegas to Moab, Utah on a Friday in early May. As I am flying into Vegas the same afternoon, I won't be able to hit the road until early evening on Friday so I want to split the 6,5 hrs drive into two legs.

Can anyone make a recommendation for a worthwhile place to stay and spend the night in Utah somewhere along I-15 and I-70 east of Cedar City? The lodgings are not so important, the question is more if there is anything to see.
