Hi, Kempis - Congratulations! Vancouver is one of my favorite cities, too. If the weather is nice (or if you're a runner ), the seawall walk (run) around Stanley Park is wonderful - nearly 10K in length, with gorgeous views.

Vancouver also has one of the largest Chinatowns in North America; if you like Chinese food, it's probably better than you'll find in Sweden.

The Museum of Anthropology is a long bus ride from downtown (on the UBC campus; catch the bus along Granville St.). Their exhibits relating to Pacific Northwest Indians is terrific.

Unusual dining experience: a place on upper Robson St. that specializes in Northwest Indian cuisine. Interesting AND tasty! I forget the name of the place, but could dig it out if you're interested (or I posted it on a prior Vancouver thread).

Enjoy your trip - when will you get to San Francisco?
