Landed EZE this morning on the DL flight. The DL email saying "it's time to check in for your flight" said I would need to pay the fee. I ignored it. The agent who checked me in at DCA asked to see my reciprocity fee receipt, I told her it was no longer required, and she seemed to accept that. Don't think she confirmed what I was saying in the system unless she did it very quickly while checking me in. Boarding the flight in ATL no issue, only the usual passport check at the gate. On arrival in EZE, the DL ground agent who came onboard said everybody would need to show their reciprocity fee receipt when they got to immigration, and if anyone didn't have their receipt to see him. Which got me a little worried, you'd think the DL agent based at EZE of all people would know the score. But I ignored him, showed up at Immigration with passport & landing card in hand, & no mention of any fee. Just a very pleasant & quick processing of my passport.

So there are still some employees along the line who haven't gotten the word yet, but if you just ignore them you can get into Argentina without paying the fee. At least that was my experience today.
