My routine has me leaving my office Downtown at 60-65 minutes prior to departure for HNL interisland flights. Nimitz/Freeway takes about 20 minutes to the airport, parking and security take about 10 minutes, and I have about 10 minutes in the Premier Club to fill up my water bottle before heading to the gate. There was one off 5:50 a.m. departure where I was still in the security line at 5:30 a.m., sweating, but made it with a few minutes to spare. I know my colleagues aim to get to HNL at T-60 to departure.

OGG can be a nightmare with no Precheck if you're getting there at a time with multiple Mainland departures. With Precheck, it's significantly more manageable.
