its never bothered me although I figured the day would be coming where I'd have to correct this error. Heck even when we travel overseas, the two different spellings between his ticket and his passport have never been mentioned. Today we went to do his GOES interview and the CBP officer told me that all his FF accounts must have the apostrophe and correct spelling. I told him about the AA account and he said I would need to get it fixed.
I called AA and they put me through to Cust Svc but they are closed for the holiday
So I thought Id come on here and see is Advantage going to make me do to get this first name corrected in the Advantage system?
While he has an AS and UA account as well, those are spelled correctly so I don't have any issues there. Right now AA is the one he primarily uses and of course that is the one that is incorrect.
You called AAdvantage Custimer Service, but they are closed for the holiday. Call after the holiday and determine exactly what will be required.
