I was staying at the Millennium Hilton Seoul last week and upon checking in I was asked for a card to cover incidentals. I handed over the no fee HH Amex I carry for Hilton stays. The agent spent a long time typing on her machine and I thought nothing of it until I got this email:
I'm guessing she fat fingered the entry. Annoyingly, it meant the card didn't attach to my account so when my friends who were staying with me checked out, one of them had to cover the costs of the incidentals which cost me a few points. On the plus side, it did lead to a laugh when I saw the email.
