I bring chocolates with me on every flight for the crew and hand them out after meal service. I leave it up to the FA to decide if they want #1, #2, or #3.

As a result I've had everything from a pleasant "hi, thanks, bye" to an extended image review of photos from a trip to Vietnam to improvised chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches.
