How much do you chat with the flight crews?

During a pleasant, but long flight from BOS-PDX last night, I noticed how some passengers seem to get into long, in-depth conversations with the FAs and some never say more than "hi" and "good-bye". I guess there are essentially three general categories....

Person #1: Pleasant, but nothing more than a few pleasantries like "hello" (inserts earbuds)

Person #2: Engages in brief, short conversations related to their travels or the flight experience itself, but does so from their own seat

Person #3: Always stops in the galley (to/from lav) to engage in a long conversation about their life story (or the life story of the FA).

Despite the fact that I have an occupation that requires A LOT of talking, most of the time I'm probably most like person #2....what about you?? And for those person #3 folks out there--what in the world are you talking about for so long??
