Been to Phuket, not really my kind of place. I prefer Chiang Mai. With that said, I did have some awesome tours to see Phang Nga Bay where the James Bond movie was filmed and Phi Phi Islands.
Check out Two Sea Tours for Phang Nga bay. They take you to a few other islands as well, the boat is well maintained and clean. They provide an awesome Thai lunch with soft drinks and fresh fruit earlier in the day. The crew are really friendly and helpful, also noticed they pick up rubbish while kayaking if they happpen to come across a stray piece which I thought was awesome and showed how much they care about the enviornment and not just making money. Another reason why I liked Two Sea Tours is that they don't pack the boat, we had alot of room and probably could've fit 20 more people on board but they keep it small and intimate.

We went with Phuket Sail Tours to see Phi Phi islands, Maya Bay, and a few other stops I believe. Nice speed boat with a friendly crew. Perfect amount of time at each island to relax, enjoy, and soak it all in. Didn't feel rushed at all. They provide fresh fruits and soft drinks early in the day, and have a very tasty lunch on Koh Phi Phi island. Masks, snorkels, and fins weere provided also. They even have motion sickness pills complementary for those that need it, just have to ask at the office.

For the Phuket night life check out Bangla road. Hope you have a great trip!
