And the "prawn" that I've ordered came out with 3 little pieces of shrimp that I can picked-up at my local Giants-food mart for pennies. Seriously, that dish I would be embarrassed to serve my guest at home.

I am so glad twice I've decided to take the Airport Trolley to the Pier F lounge, the menu are so much superior. How can the same F lounge be such night-and-day? Is this CX's way of diversifying more people to Pier to lessen Wing's capacity?
next time you're in the Wing, I recommend visiting the side room next to the J lounge. "The Atrium" or something like that? Anyway, it's the room next to the J lounge where passengers used to sneak into the F lounge. This area has been renovated. In addition to curtailing the ability of pax to sneak in, they've added a self-serve station with some snacks, a panini/hot sandwich guy, some pickles, some salads, a tea station and IME is the best part of the Wing F now. I enjoy my time there and is normally where I position myself if in that lounge. It's kinda like a higher end version of the panini concept in The Cabin, which I'm also a fan of. I thought it was a nice touch for CX to have the tea station. Indeed, it will be possible to quibble about the qualities of certain teas they serve but I do enjoy that it is done in a way more respectful to Chinese tea culture than a lot of the other airlines, including even how CX serves tea onboard. My feeling about CX has always been their tea culture is far more Western than Chinese. In F, they absolutely just obliterate any delicacy of the tea by steeping it way too long and giving you a single, far-too-large white pot. You end up with warm, over-brewed tea that's a shadow of itself. Not the end of the world...it's probably not practical to have proper, smaller smaller ceramic pot that you can re-steep over and over on-board....but just sayin I like what they've done in this part of the F lounge. It's a nod to doing tea a bit more the Chinese way. I'm a fan, thought it was well thought out.

Agree the The Haven is for the tourists. I pretty much avoid it every single time.

Agreed. There seemed to be a nicer a la carte menu right when the revamp happened. I remember some bacon wrapped steak thing, which is long gone now.
