I went to another WM, the cashier who helped me here has helped me before. Again directly after the first swipe of the gold-looking MC GC from staples, a print out was asking for cash or debit. It recognized the card as a credit card. The screen at this WM (last Sunday) gave me an opportunity to hit change payment. Today, it changed soooo quickly and even when I successfully hit change payment, the print out still came out requiring me to give cash or debit.
After attempting 2x in 2 different WMs, I decided to give it a break. I came back to the same WM that gave my MC trouble 2 days ago. Today, was completely different. Everything worked. After each swipe, it gave me enough time to hit Change Payment and then chose debit etc. All's well again. I was able to do 3 MO transactions tonight. Whew!!!
