Most of the hotels that have shuttle buses from the airport are out on the highway, not in the town. You will probably see nothing but the highway.

If you want a leisurely visit, take the local Keisei Train (not the Skyliner) to Keisei Narita and go to the Shinshoji temple, which is adjacent to a wooded garden.
