I think I'm going to pull the trigger on the Excelsior. SPG is giving me a deal on points due to our troubles and it's a junior suite on a higher floor at a points cost barely above a base room for double the size. Based on cost I'm getting 3.1-3.4 cents per point on the room. We are staying at wow properties the rest of the trip, it just makes sense, given the location is good. I'll be sure to post my review on return Oct 6.
