For reference as you continue your search, what they mean is,

Did you buy one ticket Prague-US, so your single ticket includes Prague- IST-ORD, or do you have a ticket IST-ORD, and you're looking to buy a separate ticket Prague-IST to get you to IST?

In the former case, if you're able to buy it as one ticket, the airline is obligated to help you out in the event of a misconnect.

In the latter case, if you miss the connection, you've missed your IST-ORD flight entirely and that separate ticket has no value.


If this is a miles ticket, fly Prague-IST the day before, then IST-ORD the day after.
