Many of us complain about "enhancements" and how bad CE is.

My father is 75 and has always used the cheapest option when flying, Ryanair and other low-cost airlines. I decided to book one trip for him and his companion in CE for his birthday.

He was very impressed. Special check-in desks, fast-track security, the huge luxury lounge at LHR that had everything! They even offered hot food in the lounge. Luxury seat in the airplane with plenty of shoulder space. Free food and drinks. I had told him that Champagne is available, he was sceptical but promised to ask. He told me that after the Champagne was finished a female crew member suggested that they should have a top-up ^

He told me that they felt like royalty with all this luxury, Champagne, lounges and special treatment. I just talked with him on the phone, he said: "It will be very difficult to fly Ryanair now".
