The rest of the world calls it the Indian Ocean. If you're swimming in the Southern/Antarctic Ocean you're probably a long way from shore and should head back before your legs get tired.

Canberra's not so bad, especially if you want all the amenity of a large city, but be able to live on acreage with a 15-20 minute drive to work.
