Your current location is New Orleans and the boat is moored in Belize. You quickly ascertain there is a nonstop flight departing New Orleans (MSY) the next morning at 7:00am that will get you into Belize City (BZE) by 8:45am. Name the airline and the aircraft type you'll be on. Partially answered - The flight was operated by SAHSA. We are still looking for the aircraft type

It wasn't a 727? Well dang! Thought I had it! The only other aircraft I'm aware of SAHSA operating back then was a Lockheed Electra, so there you go and let's hope this time Bob's your uncle!

33. It's still 1976 and you are in colorful Colorado taking some time out from the sailboat brokering business in order to go skiing with friends. Of course, your business partner calls you with the latest white hot deal which you'll no doubt have to move quickly on. "So where's the boat?" you ask. "Buddy, it's moored at the Hilo marina and it's one of the most beautiful catamarans you've ever seen!" Well, here we go again.....you ascertain there is one daily direct flight from Denver (DEN) to Hilo (ITO) which makes two stops en route. Better yet, first class is available! Identify the air carrier you'll departing on, the equipment and the two stops.

Hmm... well I was gonna say Western with its daily 707 via San Diego (didn't know if it continued on to Hilo but it was worth a shot) but since you mention it was a widebody and that the airline wasn't United, I'm not left with a lot of options...

30. SAHSA operating Lockheed L-188 Electra service is correct! Here are the southbound scheds....

SH 415: New Orleans (MSY) 07:00 - 08:45 Belize City (BZE) 09:10 - 09:40 San Pedro Sula (SAP) 10:05 - 10:30 Tegucigalpa (TGU) 11:00 - 12:10 San Jose (SJO)
Op: Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only
Equip: Electra

SH 417: New Orleans (MSY) 07:00 - 08:45 Belize City (BZE) 09:10 - 09:40 San Pedro Sula (SAP) 10:05 - 10:30 Tegucigalpa (TGU)
Op: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays only
Equip: Electra

It appears that SAHSA was the last airline to operate the Electra into New Orleans in scheduled passenger service.

Down to the banana republics...
Down to the tropical sun...
Go the expatriated Americans...
Hoping to find some fun.

Some of them are running from lovers...
Leaving no forward address...
Some of them are running tons of ganja...
Some are running from the IRS.

Late at night you will find them...
In the cheap hotels and bars...
Hustling the senoritas...
While they dance beneath the stars.

Spending that renegade peso...
On a bottle of rum and a lime...
Singing 'Give me some words I can dance to...
Or a melody that rhymes'.

- Jimmy Buffett, "Banana Republics"

33. Continental is correct! Here's the sched.....
