I think I'm wishing I had gone for the banked year last year. I'm doing the SP rollover and planning to under fly NZ this year so the SP don't go to waste but it means having to go through the statements and keep some sort of tally which ... Well I hate jobs like that. I had this small hope the app would do it for me.

Anyway, side note: crediting to VA means I can keep flying Air NZ although apart from points in VA, there doesn't seem to be a huge benefit gained from status on VA if you're holding NZ Elite already. I thought the VA points might come in handy for domestic flights but it appears you can use APD to pay for the whole TT AND domestic VA part of a trip!

I think the year after if I'm within reach of it I'll go for the banked year instead.
