Spent a week in ITC Gardenia last month. Not SPG elite so idea about the lounge. Award stay using C+P.

Very nice and open layout. It looks beautiful but the greenery attracts blood sucking vampires (mosquitoes). But only a bother if you are sitting in the lobby or garden area during evening hours.

They have cocktails and horderves (sp) in evening for all guests. Nothing spectacular but good place to grab a couple of beers.

Rooms are nice. Kindda mid-sized. There is a cool LCD control system next to bedside for every electrical gadget in the room. Kindda great when you want to turn the AC on/off without getting out.

Breakfast spread is decent but not incredible (JW Bengaluru brekkie spread is 3x bigger).

Pool area is really nice and quiet. Really loved it. Room service food is pretty good as well.

Service is very good and the staff is very courteous. Housekeeping would fold towels into swans every other day and leave hand written thank you notes. Housekeeping floor supervisor greeted me personally couple of times and would bring fresh flowers every other day. Very nice touch.

Overall - Great property for award stay or if room rate is competitive. If I had to pay top dollar, I might be skewed towards ultra luxurious Leela Palace Bengaluru.
