This is exactly why you only use genuine parts by the manufacturer (with them doing the work) and use their properly designed chargers and not counterfeit garbage
I would say counterfeit garbage is garbage, but not all 3rd party chargers are. Belkin and the like that are reputable can cheaper and are just as reliable.
