Somehow TSA's ID scanner does not have terminal restrictions. FAs can get denied right after a long vacation because airlines have to deactivate them from and reactivate them into the database.
Was it stated anywhere that she was in a Known Crewmember line versus a regular screening line? If so, I must have missed it.
