Gov't won't collect air tix taxes until Jan. 15
U.S. airlines, which normally turn over ticket excise taxes to the federal government on the 15th and 30th of each month, have been allowed to hold onto the money since Sept. 11 and won't have to fork over the cash until Jan. 15.
