Two nice trips

Wife had about 190k and me about 180k from cc bonuses mostly. When the big deval was announced, we booked two biz-class rt's on JL: SAN-NRT for early October. We'll take a train to Nikko. Looks nice in the fall.

We got a 10% mileage bonus on the redemptions thru our Barclay and Citi cards. I was still a little short of 100k, so I spent about $300 for 12k miles in November when AA had a bonus running.

In February, I booked two more biz class tickets to fly in January:

LAX-(SCL)-COR and
SCL-(LIM)-LAX all on LAN

We'll buy a separate ticket from Córdoba to Mendoza and then Santiago.
Non-stop to LAX was not available for the return, and neither were any AA flights between LAX and SAN, but both trips were a great use of pre-devaluation miles.
