I am about to book a YYZ-DXB return ticket.
YYZ-DXB - Economy Flex Plus ( Assume it costs 50$)
DXB-YYZ - Economy Flex plus ( Assume it costs 55$)
If I fly from YYZ to DXB and then decide to cancel the return trip a few days before the actual flight, will I get back the full 55$ I paid ?
Thanks
If you purchase a round trip and refundable ticket, then the amount of the refund will be amount paid - cost of a one way ticket for the outbound
Is YYZ-DXB $50 if purchased as a one way ticket or is it just $50 as part of a round trip
Looking at the R class economy fares from YYZ-DXB in April , the r/t fare is ( excluding taxes/surcharges) CAD1810.00 whilst the one way R fare is CAD1260 . If you cancel the return leg, then in this case, the refund would be CAD550 ( plus surcharges/taxes for the DXB-YYZ sector)
If you purchase a R one way to DXB ( CAD1260) and a R one way from DXB-YYZ ( CAD1935.00 ) = CAD3195 (plus taxes/surcharges), then inded you will get a full refund of the CAD1935 for the return sector
