It's very different from a hotel. There you have no idea what type of room is behind each door, so you don't know whether your neibour is in a superior twin or the presidential suite. Here it would be very awkward; Grand Siecle in a nice flute for one, a plastic cup with a Gordons and tonic for his/her neighbour!
