I don't think they were running DEN<-->Florida at this point in time, so if I had to hazard a guess, I'd say something like CLE-FLL at 10am getting in 1230pm with a 4pm return getting in around 645pm

United was operating a morning departure at this very same time in 1976 with a Super DC-8-61 from Grand Rapids, Michigan. Routing was Grand Rapids (GRR) - Cleveland (CLE) - Fort Lauderdale (FLL). The return northbound routing of this D8S service was FLL-CLE-GRR-ORD.

And as you can imagine, UA was operating additional flights with the D8S into Pittsburgh at this same time as well. Routings included SEA-ORD-PIT, LAX-MKE-PIT, OMA-ORD-PIT and DEN-MKE-PIT.
