Just about every course I have played has taught me somehting about the game, myself and human nature. As to beauty, that is in the eye of the beholder. I have had ugly rounds on beautiful courses and great rounds on lesser courses. Generally, golf courses are located in the nicest parts of a city, etc. Touring pros were asked which one course would they play if it were the only course they could ever play and had to play every day. Their choice, Pebble! The other course that the pros frequently mention is in beautiful and scenic Nebraska. Sand Hills. Try it some time. look at
