Ultimately only you can decide. Personally I see little point spending good money chasing lifetime status unless you're planning on flying economy and even then its worth is debatable.
I know someone who used to love flying even in long haul Y and now finds it hard to motivate himself to fly in premium cabins. In fact the older he gets he'd far rather stay at home and take the dogs for a walk.
