Welcome to FT by the way. Now that you are participating you will probably travel a lot more.
Unless you value chosing your own seats highly and have no status at all.

Most of my J travel was on redemptions and the inability to chose seats was a frustration especially as you need to book these fares way out and that far out you almost have the pick of the plane.
