Never stayed there before. It is certainly very confusing with the many different buildings and room types, what we want is I guess the nicest/ most luxurious environment with a spacious room, with a chance to get a decent Diamond upgrade. A balcony or view would be a bonus! Lounge access or access to private pool would be cool too.

Also, i would like a renovated room if possible.

I can get a room in the Allii tower (partial ocean view) for only $227 a night MVP, which seems pretty good.

Take the Ali'i Towers the private pool alone is worth it. I have been staying at HHV for 30years and the Ali'i is the only way to go. Hint walk across the street to the "coffee shop" for breakfast much better price that the hotel and lot's of local favor.
