you of all people should know about HUCA ... and I'm thinking it's about half a dozen times for your VIPR stories ...

I probably recounted this "being proactive" success story shortly after it happened last fall ... BWI-JFK was delayed for maintenance, but my as-booked JFK-SEA was still within the MCT window; I called the PM line and got protected into the last F seat on the later JFK-SEA about three minutes before BWI-JFK was pushed another 15 min ... yes I was pissed about losing a lie-flat on a 16J 757, but at least I got to SEA the day I needed to; as we were boarding at BWI, I heard a passenger on the phone complaining about being auto-rebooked to the next morning because the last seat(s) had just disappeared
