Given the way in which some folk claim to spend around here, I would guess that most FT are debt free millionaires. Most Canadians (and AC pax) obviously aren't.
When people derisively write "I don't buy Tango", to me it means one of two things:
1. They don't want to be seated in economy and are either buying paid J or or Flex/Latitude/Premium Economy to use with eUps, in which case it's a reasonable but also meaningless statement. The purchasing habits of people who intend to sit in business class using instruments that 99% of travellers don't have are of little interest to those simply trying to travel from point A to B in the most economical fashion.
OR
2. They voluntarily pay 2x or more to receive the same product as Tango (with, at most, $70 of fees waived) because ???
