By "their website" I gather you're referring to UA and not SQ website, because you can't see *A award availability on SQ website, only SQ and MI flights.

If so, yes you will have to call KF and redeem 27.5K KF miles + taxes + fuel surcharge for oneway UA HKG-SIN in J.
