Actually, now that you mention it, on a very recent trip, I was booted from 7A on a 767 to 4A at about T-24 due to my seat being needed for pilot rest, but at the airport was moved to 5A after I drew a picture of the table console placement, with the seat on the aisle versus by the window on that aircraft. Since all of the odd A and D seats were occupied at that point, I suspect that the agent's call resulted in someone else being booted out of 5A.
