Do you remember where you read that Ethiopian allows 100% credit for V fares? The earning chart on Ethiopian's website does not even list a V fare for earning for Eva air.
Also, the rules (for Ethiopian's program) state that a one way award is 75% of the round trip price. So a one way domestic award within the US is 0.75*30k, which is 22.5k.
It would be awesome if V class had 100% earning anywhere. We just ticketed a west coast - Bali roundtrip with a stopover in each direction. No Y+ or J this time, but the V class economy fare was just too good to pass up.

My girlfriend just booked a ridiculously cheap roundtrip flight on BR from SFO to MNL via TPE which in theory would net her 14,000 miles on ET.
The process however for redeeming an award looks extremely arduous, though given that it's 15,000 for a one-way flight in the US (in theory, if this is allowed), it seems like it could be worth a try.
Any feedback/experience?
