Starter in a plastic pot with a peel back lid, main course was in a container with a peel back lid. Can't recall what desert was - I think it was a cake in a wrapper.

A packet containing the plastic knives, fork, sugar etc.

The roll was separate.

All served on a plastic tray.

That description seems to suggest that the food comes on a plate - well that didn't happen. No plates at all.

I assumed this was the norm now.

On the way back we just had a cream tea and a sandwich (if you can call it a sandwich) - left us feeling very hungry as it was a flight over what I would consider a meal time. Maybe that had a plate, I am honestly not sure.

The main meal we had on the other flight certainly was not on a plate.
