It's just quieter, fairly spacious, got good views on to the gates, has all the main facilities of South except there is no cinema area (in reality a big screen showing golf or some such), and the customer service desk doesn't have a guaranteed ticketing agent. You can try both lounges, or indeed all 3. These are personal views, there's nothing to say that my views should align with yours. I'd probably prefer this lounge to any AA Flagship, narrowily so in the case of JFK.
