My wife has purchased ticket with Malaysia Airline using her maiden name which is the same as her passport without notice that it will be expired in less than 6month. (Normally, we will plan the trip by booking the flight for good price before booking the hotel and apply VISA)
Then she applied for VISA and realized that she need to re-new the passport.
Her new passport was made with her new last name (my last name) and did not match with the E-ticket she bought with Malaysia Airline.
After read some thread in flyertalk.com for similar situation.

Someone can use her old passport, ID, driving license, marriage license to proof that she is the same person while traveling with other airline.
Then my wife contacted Malaysia Airline for advice if she can bring her old passport, ID, driving license, marriage license to proof that she is the same person on the ticket while traveling on Malaysia Airline. (I am travelling with her, there should be no problem for other type of booking)
Malaysia Airline staff in Thailand did not answer her question but request that she must re-issue the ticket with new name for 1,500Baht around 150RM or 43USD.
I found some thread on flyertalk.com about re-issue ticket due to Malaysia Airline E-Booking error. That time it cost only 65RM.

For re-issue e-ticket with the same flight, I think 1,500Baht is too much to be reasonable.
Should we risk flying with Malaysia Airline and carry all document like old passport, ID, driving license, marriage license or we should pay Malaysia Airline for this un-reasonable amount?
Does any one know how to contact Malaysia Airline Management for further discussion and hopefully for reasonable solution.
My flight date is on April 9, 2016. I still have time but not much to deal with this problem.
